Passion

Ada sorang member aku encourage aku utk bergiat balik dlm bidang music ni. So, here I am.
Sementara cuti ni, aku buat lagu. Main game pun kadang2 je. Focus lebih kat bidang music ni, sbb passion aku dah kembali.

Yeah, passion aku dlm bidang ni. Kalau xkerana passion, tak mampu aku nk fokus lama2 depan laptop, pastu tarik gitar, pastu depan laptop balik. Korang mungkin tgk lagu 3minit tu nmpk simple, tp hakikatnya xsemudah yg disangka. Drum roll, gitar, bass tab, lead, select plugin, settings. I try my best to remake all songs 1by1.

About Zero Range. Aku rasa now aku nak gerak solo je. Theory music dah ada, cukuplah sekadar aku mampu buat lagu2 ZR balik secara solo. Cuma suara aku yg meow meow ni xla sebagus Lazman Lee (tu yg aku rasa). Sebut R pun xbetul. But still thats it for ZR. Aku xnak kata ZR disband, tp aku nk tunggu org lain dlm ZR yg nk hidupkan balik. Bila org dah xda minat, buat apa nk paksa.

And pasal sokongan. Aku tau, ada yg memperlekehkan. Ada yg xamik kesah pun. Nak click ''play'' tu pun berat, inikan pulak nk bg pendapat. Yes, I know. Aku sedar, aku bukan bagus mana pun. Bukan best pon lagu aku, haha. Xkan la smpai nak kena pm sesorang pass lagu, dah mcm desperados pulak.

But still, Im doing what I love to do, and what I can do. Tak kesah la apa org nak kata cos I still got few friends that keep on supporting me, family, ひかり by my side. That's enough to keep me on track. Dgn bagi idea, bg semangat , dan ada yg sanggup nk cover lagu aku. Thank you so much.

The 4 Seasons lyric

A day in 2010. I'm in the class, too immerse in finishing The 4 Seasons lyric..........and its done! after a few days, the lyric is finally complete! Right on time,the school bell rings, well its time to go to physic class.

In Physic lab;

''Akmal, see this, our new song the 4season lyric is complete !'' I said to Gin, while showing the lyric to him.

''Woaaahh gimme that wanna read !" Said him.

Without we realise, Cikgu Naziha had started her teaching. Yet, the lyric sheet is pass from one person to another around our table. Zeroes sit in the same table at that time.

"Awie ! what's that? give me" Said Cikgu Naziha.

"Err, lyric cikgu." I replied.

I stand up, and give to Cikgu Naziha. Hoping that she didn't tear it up. For a moment, she read the lyric...

" Ishhh this lyric is so jiwang. Let me hold on to this until this class is finish" Said Cikgu Naziha while smirking at us.

After the class is over;

"Cikgu, this is not a love song. It's about us form 5 students, that will leave this school" I explain it to Cikgu Naziha.

" I see. Well, you guys should let me hear it then." She said.



There are around 10 songs that I had composed so far, and the 4 seasons is my favourite one. I know, im still an amature. I'm not sure what old timer composer would say when they see the 4season music arrangement, vocal notes and stuff.. but hey ! Atleast its something that came out deep from my heart.

Sometimes people get so caught up in the attributions of genres that they forget what music is about in the first place. They limit themselves to certain styles because their mind is not free. Music can and should be enjoyed across all genres, regardless of social value, political statement, mainstream success, stigma and so on, because great talent is to be found in every aspect of art, from the popular to the most obscure and unknown. Dubstep has a perceived low social value because of widespread misconceptions, ignorance and bitterness. Bitterness from the UK and surrounding cultures because the US dubstep variant, Brostep, by proxy of the masterful producer Skrillex became an overnight phenomenon that completely overshadowed a decade or so of dubstep history from the country and followers of origin. Ignorance, because people do not understand the considerable talent and work that goes into high quality music of any genre, and finally misconceptions because people think dubstep is written exclusively by teenagers with laptops, no musical education or comprehension of simple musical concepts and theory. Classical music, contemporary and
traditional is considered "sophisticated", "academic", "intelligent" and so on, because the ignorant consensus is that it "obviously requires a much greater mind and skillset to write music for something as complex as an orchestra". Thus, so-called "elitist" and "purist" followers of classical/orchestral music are born, and they, like every other culturally selective group in society stick together to spread the message that the music and art that they identify themselves by is vastly superior to that which the unwashed masses enjoy, such as Justin Bieber and Skrillex.


As someone who has written music for orchestras, choirs, metal bands, trance, country, bubblegum pop, hollywood movies and tv jingles I can assure you that neither musical genre is more sophisticated, intelligent or difficult to do than another. I feel compelled to address the gross ignorance that is displayed increasingly frequent when people trash great pop acts of our time such as Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and so on. The collective talent, musicianship, intelligence and hard work behind these acts is unparalleled. There is a reason why these people are popular, and it's not the image or look that they carry. The music may not be to your taste, but be honest with yourself and man enough to admit that the reason you don't listen to Justin Bieber or Lady Gaga is because of its perceived social stigma, your own ego and/or your views on manufactured talent packages. I myself choose to keep an open mind and never ever mix music and art with politics or as a social affiliation and identification factor. Wherever great men pave new road, greater minds will follow, and the collective great minds will eventually reach the limits of what we are intellectually capable of, only to carry this knowledge forth into new fields of discovery. 

The principle of evolution is as sound in the context of music as in the context of nature. Do you follow the herd or is your mind free? Think about it. Do you identify yourself through music? Do you hide behind it or do you actually choose to be free and embrace everything without prejudice? Life is so rich and full of beauty, and art is truly limitless, so why limit ourselves to the sheep mentality in our appreciation of it? Embrace without prejudice and cultivate that which resonates within you, not what resonates with others."- Thomas J. Bergersen

Recently aku siapkn lagu baru,Love Experiment.But demo ver only ya. Bukan btul2,sbb aku nk tau kat mana kelemahan lagu tu. Apa kurangnya,apa yg kne dibaiki. SO,i decided to put the song in some group in Fb.Hasilnya........ *krik krik krik (sfx cengkerik)*

Xde komen.Xde response.Yg response pun kwn2 yg dah mmg aku send lgu tu..

Ok,aku sbnrnya faham scenario yg berlaku. It is always hard for people to accept something new and weird. For example, lagu Najwa Latif-Cinta muka buku,jd femes.Then ble ada org buat putus di Twitter ttbe kecoh sekampung Facebook lagu tu.Kalau la xde lagu cinta muka buku korang rasa lgu putus di Twitter tu ade ke org nk dgr?

So,what really did people like to hear? mereka suka apa yg org lain suka dan mereka suka apa yg sudah tersedia mereka suka.

Aku tya korang lg, kenal Sam Tsui? nape dy femes? sbb cover lagu2 yg dah femes. Tp org suka dy. Jujur la aku xrespect lgsung.

Korang rasa la klau2 dy buat lagu sndiri semata2, xde cover lagu org, boleh ke dy femes secepat itu? NOPE xkn la. Bagi aku yg setakat dok cover lagu org kat Youtube tu, tu namanye tumpang populariti.

U think composing a song is easy? setiap mlm tido kul 2-3 pagi. Sakit tlinga dok ulang button Play.Mandi pon jadi lama sbb nk cari ilham ! ngeh ngeh. Seronok sgt ke jd composer? org xkenal pun ko. Bpe ramai org dlm dunia ni yg dgr lagu kat radio then tya ''eh sapa compose lgu ni eh?''.. bpe ramai pulak yg dgr lagu then tanya ''eh sapa nyanyi lagu ni?''

cuba korang try berfikir sejenak, lagu tu sedap sbb composer ke sbb pnyanyi? Lagu yg dah mmg dicompose sedap, bagi la sape2 yg ada suara,yg ada bakat mnyanyi,still sdap jadinya ! sbb tu belambak org boleh cover lagu kat Youtube. Takkan la korang xpenah terfikir.

It's sad when nowadays org xpndg kreativiti, tp innovative lg sng mndapat tempat. Aku xkata aku ni pro sgt buat lagu. Aku xkata aku ni kreatif sgt. Aku masih mentah dlm bidang ni.Tp aku nk state kat sini apa yg aku nmpk, and its a fact.

Glad that I found Nell!

Ohmoo Nell! Daebak Nell! Saranghae Nell! (erhh? =_='')

The 1st song I listen already captivated my heart (Nell-51 minutes ago).This is music! This is pure modern-rock band! They really shows that Korean can rock-on too!

Damn,how come I didn't notice their song in my lappy before -,-

I miss Coldplay,Keane,H.I.M.,Travis a lot. And suddenly I found them. Chilling,rock-ballad,great lyrics,unique music arrangement.PERFECT.This is my type of song!

But it sad though.They ain't that famous worldwide.Trust me,they should be more famous than Ft Island and CNBlue.I'm number 23 to like their fanpage on Facebook.Ksatriya,my friend number 24. =_=

Sigh,their group page have only 558 members.

They just didn't have the chance to show what they are really made of,and how talented they are.They ain't miming on stage.Their vocalist,Kim Jong Wan is really-really talented.He's the band guitar and keyboard player.Gifted with a beautiful voice,and how he really can composed, as well as write lyrics of their songs.He also once awarded as the best lyricist in Korea!

I'm not saying that I hate FT Island and CNBLUE.I like both of them.But they really should have the quality of Nell.How they play,and how they perform.How much immersed their feelings in each of their live performance.Come on YG ent,show us they really can reach Nell's level! Not just selling their pretty face on stage!
